Eunbin

I wanted to follow in the footsteps of the older members and create a good atmosphere as the youngest!

— Eunbin

Eunbin (Korean:은빈) is a South Korean actress under Cube Entertainment. She is the maknae of the girl group CLC.

Career[]

2016: Produce 101, debut with CLC[]

On January 22, 2016, Eunbin was introduced to the public as a contestant on a Mnet reality girl group survival show Produce 101. The purpose of Produce 101 was for the public to "produce" a girl group from a pool of 101 female trainees from 46 different companies.

Eunbin came to represent Cube Entertainment along with, Lee Youn Seo (Produce 101's youngest contestant, eliminated in the second round) and Jeon Soyeon (Eliminated in the finale).

After Produce 101[]

During a V-Live in which the CLC members were officially encouraging their viewers to become fans, the other members asked Eunbin what had changed in her life after competing in produce 101. In response, Eunbin jokingly replied that she had received a strawberry smoothie from a store that was closing due to her fame. After that she added more seriously, "I think Produce 101 was a huge opportunity for me. It helped me a lot in getting more stage experience. I was able to experience a lot and mature in many ways. So I'm very thankful that I appeared on it."

Eunbin announced that as a new member of CLC, she wanted to follow in the footsteps of the older members and create a good atmosphere as the youngest.

Post Debut[]

Debut With CLC[]

At first, Eunbin was supposed to debut with the rest of CLC in 2015, but her debut was postponed as the group's third EP was delayed.

Although Cube Entertainment planned for her to join the group to fully promote Refresh after her elimination, she was unable to per Produce 101's contractual restrictions. Yet, she still partly debuted with CLC soon in Refresh as the maknae, sub vocal, rapper and the face of the group after being eliminated from the survival show.

She fully became a member of CLC at the promotion of their mini album Nu.Clear in May 2016.

Post Disbandment[]

As of late-2022, Kwon and Oh Seung-hee are the only members of CLC who have remained under Cube Entertainment. However, it is widely speculated that Kwon will soon be leaving as her contract will expire by 2023.

Acting career[]

Kwon is currently pursuing her career as an actress. She has gained traction with her continuous acting gigs for various dramas, such as "Dear M" and "Duty After School." She had also been nominated for a number of awards for her acting skills.
